Syrian actress Sulaf Fawakhirji has revealed that she has made a final decision not accept the leading role in the new Egyptian drama “Shajarat Al Durr” and has broken her contract with the Egyptian Television, which is the producing agent for the drama, due to their constant postponing of the work. Sulfa stated that the contract had caused her to give up numerous offers to star in other works in the past period. At the same time, the actress stressed that she has the utmost respect for the Egyptian Television and understands that difficult economic conditions are behind the postponing of numerous works. She added that she hopes that these difficult times will pass and conditions improve.
