The lebanese singer Fadl Shaker, revealed he has no relation with the ongoing incidents in Ain al-Hilweh refugee camp, in southern Lebanon, noting that he is away from the areas of clashes, and he only follows these incidents through the news.
In exclusive statements for Arabs Today, Shaker said: "I wish things to be calm, because there are innocents bear the burden of bullets, denouncing the discord in the camp as well as describing it as illogical and unacceptable."
Shaker said he wants to turn himself in if he guarantees to be tried in accordance with abstract justice, free from any pressure of any kind. He stated "I did not kill anyone all my life, because I'm afraid of God, I am of the people who sang to the Lebanese military institution, and my last dispute was not with the army, but with the views of other entities in Lebanon."
