The revolution of January 25 has liberated Egypt and broke the shackles of tyranny, Egyptian actress Sherihan said. The actress posted on Facebook's Egyptian Creativity Front page: “artists have different opinions when it comes to the Islamic trend. Some rejects the idea of conversation all together. Others are confused about a few aspects, I believe. The majority, however, knows very well the difference between Islam and other beliefs, and do not confuse names or ideas, which is the main goal of the Front” About the newly-elected Egyptian parliament, made up mostly of Muslim Brotherhood's members and Salafis, Sherihan said: "Artists have to respect the Salafist movement, as it was democratically elected. That does not mean that I fully understand this choice; however, I believe we should not judge them in advance."
