Egyptian actress Nelly Karim said she is about to wrap filming on her new soap opera “Zat” in a week’s time. In an exclusive interview with Arabstoday, she said the film is in its final stages and a trailer will be ready soon.It was expected that the drama would be broadcasted last Ramadan, but it was postponed because it was not completed yet. The film covers Egyptian history from the July 23 revolution leading to the events of January 25. Karim plays Zat, the lead role in the show and the show tracks her life from her birth to her death. The show also stars Basim Samra, Hany Adel, Entisar, Naser Seif and more. The show is set to be aired in January. It is written by Mariam Naoum, produced by Gaby Khoury and directed by Kamla Abu Zekri and Khayri Beshara.
