Lebanese singer Miriam Fares has told Arabstoday that contrary to reports she has not signed a contract to host a variety of shows on an Arab satellite channel. The singer has, however, confirmed that she is looking at a number of offers but is yet to put pen to paper on any of them, considering the situation to be “delicate” as she believes that “frequent appearances could be harmful to an artist.” The media had circulated reports of Fares signing a contract to present an entertainment program. The singer has told us that her publicists were working to deny a number of “fabricated” news items that occasionally appear and make the rounds, especially online.
