Iraqi singer Majed el Mohandes is warming up for a string of concerts that will take him from Doha to London during the Muslim festival of Eid.? Fans in Qatar will be the first to welcome the 41-year-old star at an Eid music festival ?in Doha on Friday, organised by Rayyan Radio and Television.? From the Qatari capital, Majed will head to Dubai for his second concert on Sunday, in the ?Habtoor Grand Hotel on Jumeirah Beach. On Tuesday, British fans will have the chance to catch a glimpse of the singer ?at the Grosvenor House Hotel on Park Lane in London.? Continuing his European jaunt, The Iraqi singer will leave London for the French city Cannes, where he will perform at JW Marriott Hotel next Tuesday, before serenading fans in Paris on August 25 at the ?Lido hall. Majed, named Muhandes (engineer in Arabic) because he used to study engineering, will wrap up his tour Moroccan audience in Casablanca on August 27.? The singer will be accompanied in all his concerts by his band, led by the maestro Medhat ?Khamis. Majed says he is delighted about the tour and is looking forward to meeting his fans across the Arab world and Europe.
