Leonardo DiCaprio and Danny Boyle are being eyed to respectively star and direct in an upcoming Aaron Sorkin-penned film about Steve Jobs' life. According to the Hollywood Reporter, Sony Pictures is moving forward with the biopic following director David Fincher's departure from the project. The 51-year-old director reportedly wanted Christian Bale to star, but his deal fell through over "his aggressive demands for compensation and control." The film will be based on the best-selling biography of the late Apple co-founder, by Walter Isaacson, Steve Jobs. It will be produced by Scott Rudin, Guymon Casady and Mark Gordon. Boyle, who was approached by Sony to direct, reportedly reached out to DiCaprio to star on the film. The two previously worked together in the 2000 movie, The Beach. Neither has worked with Sorkin.
