Egyptian actress Hana Metawei, has decided to step down from her role in the series "Om al-Sabereen", in which she was expected to play the part of an Islamic preacher, Dr. Zeinab al-Ghazali in her youth. Hanan's nmother, the actress Soheir al-Morshedi, was expected to play the same character's role in the latter stages of her life. Hanan told Arabstoday that she will not reveal the reasons behind her decision "as a sign of respect for the actress that should take her place". She also denied that the reasons were related to financial problems facing the producer. Hanan said she didn't know if her mother would quit as well.
