Egyptian comedian Samir Ghanem has announced that he is currently working on the second series of Mizo Story, the classic drama first aired on Egyptian television nearly 40 years ago. Ghanem told Arabstoday: "I am in talks with the author Lenin Ramly and a number of stars who worked on the first part of the series, to help prepare for the second part which will be shown during the next Ramadan." The famous first series, initially broadcast in 1977, starred Samir Ghanem, Isaad Younis, Fardaus Abdul Hamid and Hussein el-Sherbini. It was directed by the late Mohamed Abaza.
