Actor Isaac Hempstead-Wright, who plays Bran Stark on Game of Thrones, says he hopes his character ends up being evil. "I really want to be a villain," he told Zap2it. "I want to be evil sorcerer king of the White Walker and sort of storm down on Hodor's back with a sword and charging with an army of Whites behind me." The character is paralyzed in the first season of the HBO series and gets around by being strapped onto the back of a very tall, very large Hodor. Bran has developed a mysterious second sight. "There are plenty of past events and previous greenseers and other such mystical figures who are not only a great influence on Bran but are probably also somehow related to him and are key to him understanding what this power could be used for," he says. "I've got no idea what this power is going to be used for or what it can do or whether it will be for good or evil -- and I hope Bran and I get to have some fun with it." "I love his mystical side. ... He's on his own, he hasn't really got any friends. He's lost his parents, his sisters, and he's not only completely isolated, but his life has pretty much been ruined -- which is why the mystical stuff is really sort of a wonderful treat for him, because it is giving him something to strive towards and an actual purpose now, rather than just being sort of defeated and losing everything." Hempstead-Wright isn't the first Game of Thrones youngster who seems to hope to play a darker role. Actress Maisie Williams, who plays Bran's sister Arya Stark, says she doesn't want fans to like her character anymore. Actor Thomas Brodie-Sangster, who plays Bran's fellow greenseer, said he'd like to take a crack at playing the villain Joffrey Baratheon. Source: UPI
