Syrian actor Fares Said accepted will be appearing as a guest of honour in the TV series Heat wave, Arab Today learnt in exclusive interview with the star. The thespian confirmed he agreed to participate for two reasons; the first being his friendship with Jordanian actor Eyad Nassar. The pair grew close while both working on last year Ramadan television series The Pubic Secret. The second reason is Said’s attraction to the storyline – which was writer by revered Egyptian author Osama Anwar Okasha. The actor stated that although the script was written years ago, it reflects modern times. Said expressed his pleasure at working with Egyptian director Mohamed Yassin, adding that he has already finished filming his scenes.
