Egyptian actress Ilham Shaheen has told Arabstoday how her new movie A Day For Women has been postponed indefinitely due to unreliable security conditions inside Egypt. “I’ve decided to postpone filming A Day For women because the film revolves around Egyptian streets,” she said. “It’s impossible to get filming licenses from the Interior Ministry at the moment because of the current state of lawlessness.” The film was written by Hana Ateya, and will be directed by Kamela Abu Zekra. Shaheen co-stars alongside Mahmoud Hamida, Nelly Karim and Lutfi Labib.
