Arab actor Dawood Hussein expressed his pleasure for participating in Cairo Film Festival through his film “Doves Squadron” presented during the festival. He stressed that he was keen to participate in the festival, as his film managed to achieve a number of awards during a number of international festivals.
He added that the film discusses what happened to the Kuwaiti resistance groups during the ground attack that targeted them during Kuwait Liberation War, describing the film as a turning point in his career as an actor.
He stressed that it was a great opportunity for him to participate in a festival in Egypt which is considered “Arab Holywood”, saying that the film was presented in Hanager cinema in Egypt’s Opera House in the framework of Cairo Film Festival.
