France's former first lady, singer Carla Bruni has cancelled two legs of her upcoming North America tour, her agent said Tuesday. Bertrand de Labbey said two concerts in Canada had been cancelled after the Italian-French model-turned-singer, who is married to former French President Nicolas Sarkozy, asked for her schedule to be "lightened". Canadian newspaper the Ottawa Citizen, however, reported that ticket sales for one of the concerts had been disappointing. Bruni, 46, made her stage comeback in November with a concert to promote her fourth album, "Little French Songs". The singer will now perform in New York, Los Angeles and Montreal on the North American leg of her tour. Source: AFP
