Promising Egyptian actress Ayten Amer has put any future projects on hold, after her mother was admitted to hospital. Speaking to Arabstoday, Amer said that she is spending time with her mother at the hospital and just wants her to overcome illness. "I am not thinking about my work at the moment, my mother is very ill and I am worried about her," she said. Amer’s last movie, Over My Dead Body, starring Ahmed Helmi, Ghada Adel, Hassan Hosni and Edward was authored by Tamer Ibrahim, and directed by Mohammed Bakir. Her new drama Kika Ala Ali will be aired on Egyptian TV in the near future. It stars Hassan Raddad, Ahmed Safwat, Sabri Fawaz, Salah Abdullah, Mais Hamdan. It has been written by Husam Musa, and directed by Nader Galal.
