Lebanese star Assi El Helani has denied to ‘Arabstoday’ that he clashed with the Lebanese artist Abdel Halim Caracalla. El Helani confirmed in a phone call that his decision to not participate in the play ‘Opera Al Daia’ or ‘The Village's Opera’ did not mean he fell out with Caracalla. El Helani previously performed at the Baalbek International Festival, in Abdel Halim Caracalla's play, which is recast with the Lebanese singer Aline Lahoud. “It happens that I have some commitments at the same time of the new show, so I apologised, because working on stage means a lot of rehearsing, and I have to travel to perform many concerts in New Year’s Eve,” El Helani said. El Helani also expected that Aline Lahoud might not participate at the same play as she has other commitments at the time.
