Pink was hospitalised on Thursday. The 32-year-old singer took to her Twitter account to tell followers she had been feeling under the weather. Despite being admitted for stomach flu, Pink was remarkably upbeat. She shared a photograph through her Instagram account which showed her smiling as she lay in a hospital bed with an IV drip in her arm. Pink explained that her mother\'s medical background means she is comfortable in hospitals. She quipped that the pain medication she had been given had also brightened her mood. \"Maybe it\'s cause my mom was an ER nurse all my life- but throw me in a gown and a hook me up to an IV- and I\'m a happy girl,\" she wrote. \"Stomach flu sucks but morphine doesn\'t (sic).\" Pink then added an update to her health status. She thanked fans for their well-wishes, before hinting she might not be suffering from stomach flu at all. \"Thanks for all the get well wishes. And no-they don\'t give morphine for flu. I might have ulcers again. Because I care too much. It\'s a gift (sic),\" she tweeted. Meanwhile, another star was also receiving hospital treatment on Thursday. Actress-and-talk show host Chelsea Handler underwent knee surgery. She also happily posed for a photograph, which was posted on Facebook. \"This is me post-surgery. Fortune Feimster will be filling in as the host on tonight\'s show with more photos of me and my knee making a quick recovery. Pls support her (sic),\" she said in a message to accompany the picture.
