The Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities (BACA) will host an Italian music band in collaboration with the Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company (GPIC).
This musical performance in Bahrain, set to be held on November 16, will feature Paolo Fresu (trumpet), Bebo Ferra (electric guitar), Paolino Dalla Porta (acoustic double bass) and Stefano Bagnoli (drums).
With his creativity, talent and technique, Paolo Fresu is considered one of the most important trumpeters and jazz musicians in the Italian and European scene. His discography numbers an astonishing 130 titles and his music ranges from contemporary music to classic jazz, from dance to jazz/folk fusions.
Winner of a wide array of awards, professor, and director of various Italian and international institutions, Paolo Fresu has performed around the world with the most important names of Afro-American music over the past 30 years.
