Oscar-nominated actress and Texas resident Susan Tyrrell has died, her Web site said. She was 67. SusanTyrrell.com said she died Sunday, but offered no details about the exact cause or location. Born Susan Jillian Creamer in San Francisco, Tyrrell is best known for her work in John Huston\'s 1972 drama \"Fat City.\" Her other film credits include \"Bad,\" \"Angel,\" \"Avenging Angel,\" \"Cry-Baby,\" \"Flesh and Bone,\" \"Islands in the Stream,\" \"I Never Promised You a Rose Garden,\" \"Tales of Ordinary Madness,\" \"Forbidden Zone\" and \"Big Top Pee-Wee.\" She appeared on the TV shows \"Baretta,\" \"Starsky and Hutch\" and \"Kojak,\" as well. People.com said Tyrrell contracted the rare blood disease essential thrombocytosis, which resulted in the loss of both legs, in 2000. She continued working, however, and had roles in the 2003 movie \"Masked and Anonymous\" and \"The Devil\'s Due at Midnight\" in 2004. Her final credit was this year for a project called \"Kid-Thing.\"
