Adele was forced to stop her concert in Sydney after a fan suffered a cardiac arrest midway through.
Emergency services were called when a 47-year-old woman suffered a serious heart problem during the concert.
The 28-year-old singer stopped the show just before starting “Rolling in the Deep” to ask people to let paramedics through the crowd to help the fan. The audience in the VIP section were asked to clear the isles for medical staff to reach the stricken woman, who was carried off on a stretcher.
Meg Rylance, 26, was in the next row to the fan who collapsed, according to the MailOnline.
She explained: “Adele said ‘I’m so sorry but someone got hurt and I have to check they’re okay’.”
Meg added: ‘She actually seemed really tearful.’
Adele then apologized to the 95,000 people who had come to watch her perform in the ANZ stadium before starting her set again.
